OUR STORY

2014
2014 was our first year as we hastily gathered local artists only to be told we could use the Town Hall but couldn’t hang anything on the walls ... rescued by local contractor Kimbergill Construction who lent us his scaffolding.

2015
2015 brought the addition of a wall hanging system made possible through a Grey Highlands Council Financial Assistance Program grant and allowed us to expand our show giving it a less cluttered studio tour look and coming closer to the gallery experience we were seeking as a group and creating a space to accommodate several new artist's offerings.

2016
2016 the exhibit addressed the lighting issues with the help and generosity of the Walter Falls Art Show who were kind enough to allow us to borrow some of their lighting while we search for a permanent solution. The addition of "door walls" to create further exhibition space was new this year and received excellent reviews from those attending the show and the artists who exhibited.

2017
2017 sees Apples and Art moving ahead with plans for expanded participation, better wall space and lighting and is building to be our best show yet. So keep those dates September 22-24 on your calendar for a visit to Kimberley and enjoy the exhibit at the Town Hall.

2018
2018 is the 5th Annual Show for Apples and Art and this year we have added some new artists and artisans to show off the rich talent pool we have in the Beaver Valley. Our goal is to promote this local talent and provide better wall space and lighting to build this year's show to be our best show yet. So keep those dates September 21-23 on your calendar for a visit to Kimberley and enjoy the exhibit at the Town Hall.
